Our Story

We’re Samantha and Kara, longtime friends, moms, and the founders of NESSI. For more than 25 years, we’ve grown up together — from riding the bus to school in New York and studying abroad in Rome, to navigating high-octane careers and raising our families side by side.

Along the way, we’ve celebrated countless milestones, but have learned even everyday moments become memorable by adding unexpected details. 

Between family dinners, holidays, birthdays, and all life’s other occasions big and small, we were constantly searching for party supplies that felt fun, elevated, and different from everything else out there. But we kept noticing something was missing as we set our tables: products that reflected the customs and traditions we regularly observe in our households. 

So we created NESSI.

Drawing inspiration from the many places we’ve traveled and people we’ve met, our collections are intentional, thoughtful, and full of personality. Whether it’s the weight of a plate or the shape of a place card, no detail is too minor when it comes to making a tablescape feel special. 

And that’s what NESSI is about — bringing a little extra happiNESS to the moments we share.
